Brian Pelski - Principal – Director of Operations
Mr. Pelski brings over 20 years of self-storage experience to The Storage Group.
For 15 years, Mr. Pelski served in a number of roles including development, operations, ownership and asset management as an executive with an affiliate partner of an international, publicly-traded, self-storage Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). He has also served as a commercial real estate appraiser for nearly five years, where he conducted feasibility analysis and valuations of proposed and existing self-storage facilities for lending institutions, individual owners and government agencies.
Brian served as an affiliate consultant of another independent national brand, and has been responsible for coordinating new brand design, several rebranding projects, and countless capital expenditure projects. As a featured speaker at the Self Storage Association’s (SSA) international trade show, he has been quoted in several self-storage industry articles. He achieved the highest professional designations in the commercial real estate appraisal and investment sectors (MAI – Member of the Appraisal Institute & CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment Member). He has also been licensed as a State Certified General Appraiser and currently holds an active Real Estate license.
Larry Hanks - Principal – Director of Sales
With more than 12 years of storage industry experience prior to the formation 
of The Storage Group, Mr. Hanks has been responsible for self-storage market and feasibility studies, site selection, facility acquisitions and dispositions, as well as a storage owner for 10 years. He also brings more than a decade of commercial real estate and appraisal experience where he’s been qualified as an expert witness in valuation by the courts. Larry’s experience has allowed him to provide professional services in the self-storage industry for leasing and build-outs of billboards, cellular towers, retail and office space, utility-easement negotiation and condemnation consultation. He maintains his State Certified General Appraiser status and currently holds an active Real Estate license.
